AinA is a collaborative effort of like minded people and institutions to bring together the existing knowledge of traditional building techniques and materials, which is not seen in the contemporary building scenario today. AinA hopes to bring together all similar efforts so as to find a respectable space for artisans in architecture today and ensure old traditional building knowledge of Indian artisans is passed on to the next generation and survives successfully.
AinA is is an idea that seeks to bring out this sensitivity in each one of us. It is in form of an informal collective that hopes to grow, include and involve all artisans, practitioners, researchers, architects and engineers sensitive towards this objective.
